We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Brands & Supply Chain Manager to join our digital marketing and online marketplace company. The ideal candidate will have a background in sourcing, business development, supply chain management, or a related field in the online marketplace or consumer goods sector, with a proven track record of success in commercial negotiation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the brands and supply chain functions of the company, ensuring that the company’s brands/products are sourced and delivered efficiently and effectively for online e-commerce platforms.
Responsibilities:
Sourcing:
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, both locally and internationally.
Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, commission, delivery, and quality.
Identify new sources of brands and evaluate the feasibility of new brands, products and services.
Commercial Negotiations:
Lead commercial negotiations with brands/suppliers.
Develop and implement negotiation strategies that balance the needs of the company with its brands partners.
Supply Chain Management:
Oversee the entire supply chain process, from sourcing to delivery to end-consumers, to ensure that products are delivered on time and to the right quality standards.
Manage inventory levels and ensure that products are stored and transported in a manner that minimizes waste and risk.
Work with logistic providers to ensure that products are delivered to end-consumers in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in sourcing, business development, supply chain management, or a related field in online marketplace. Work experience in food, healthy supplements, cosmetics industry is a plus.
Fluency in Malay, Chinese, and English.
Strong commercial negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Overseas working or study experience is a plus.
